Forest Stewardship Council® is an independent and non-profit international non-governmental organisation, which aims to promote responsible forest management worldwide through what is the first and most rigorous certification system specific to the forestry sector and for woody and non-woody products derived from forests.
FSC ® includes among its members international environmental groups, social groups, indigenous communities, forest owners, industries that work and trade wood and paper, groups of large-scale organized distribution, researchers and technicians who work together.
